Decision  Making

When you find yourself experiencing an unplanned pregnancy it is important to look realistically at your options.  Making an honest appraisal of the choices  in  front of you will leave you empowered to make the best decision for your baby.

Contact an Agency

Select an agency that is responsive to your needs, makes you feel comfortable, and provides support and information. The agency you contact should help you develop your plan based on your needs and desires, and always honoring your wishes.

Create your adoption plan

Your adoption plan will include the selection of an adoptive family, determining the level of openness, creating a hospital plan, and more.

Identify Adoptive Family

Select family from pre-approved agency profiles who will meet your expectations while offering your baby a wonderful, stable, loving, and permanent home.

Prepare for delivery

Create a hospital plan with the understanding that you have control over what happens at the hospital. This plan will include your expectations regarding time spent with the baby, involvement of the adoptive family, and plans for discharge.

Complete the legal plan

You will need to complete legal requirements so that the baby may be adopted. Your agency will help you understand and complete these requirements so that the baby can be placed with the family of your choice.

Continue with post delivery services

The agency will provide you with support, including meeting with your caseworker, participating in a support group, receiving outside counseling and connecting with other birth parent clients.

Talk to our caseworkers to decide if adoption is the best option for you and your baby.
