From the AAI Offices Regarding COVID-19

Spread the Word

Dear Friends,
Surely we’re all doing our best to stay up-to-date on the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). I want to assure you that AAI is no exception. Our employees are staying home if sick, practicing social distancing, and following guidance for washing hands, keeping surfaces clean, and shaking hands. We are closely monitoring, and will follow the respective protocols of places we routinely visit, including hospitals and courts. At this time, we continue to make what are considered essential visits to client homes, mainly visits to supervise adoptive placements as required.
We are an agency of Christians, therefore we are also praying, and ask that you join us in praying for these specific things:
  • physical health and safety for ourselves and our communities
  • emotional and mental health for all who are isolated, quarantined, or feeling anxious about the unexpected upsets in daily life
  • wisdom for decision-makers as they determine the best courses of action
  • our birth parents, the babies we’re placing for adoption, our adoptive families, and our staff members
Our offices remain open, but if you are scheduled to visit or plan to stop in, please give us a call first. As we’re all experiencing, things change rapidly, so staff may be unexpectedly unavailable, or, if directed, we may need to temporarily close our offices.
Warmly,
Michelle Dykema
Executive Director
