Employees at Adoption Associates are working remotely to provide services to clients and prospective clients in light of Governor Whitmer’s ‘shelter in place’ announcement March 23. Our agency is an “essential service” and our staff is always available to meet the needs of birth parents and adoptive families. Although our physical locations are closed, our phone calls are answered by AAI employees, and clients are in contact with their caseworkers via email and phone. AAI employees are utilizing video conferencing methods when needed, and the work of adoption continues. Our staff is prepared for these changes and will continue to deliver exemplary essential services.
