Shipping Clothing and Medical Supplies to AAI-Sponsored Orphanages
Orphans in Haiti, Ethiopia, and Nepal are in dire need of basic life necessities. Many of these children live in severe poverty, have a low life expectancy, and are surviving in the world’s poorest countries. Adoption Associates, Inc. works with specific orphanages in these countries and is committed to providing basic life necessities for these children. Because our hearts are overflowing with love for these orphans, we have developed Blessings in Bundles.
Blessings in Bundles
Blessings in Bundles is a program that seeks to aid the children in AAI-sponsored orphanages with bundles of donated clothing and medical supplies. We have partnered with several organizations to collect these needed goods. When AAI adoptive families travel to these countries to finalize their adoptions, our plan is to ship these bundles with families that are able to deliver the packages to the orphanages. However, adoptive families travel sporadically and orphanages require supplies on a consistent basis. Because of this, Blessings in Bundles also needs to send packages directly to the orphanages periodically throughout the year.
Project Needs
Due to the high cost of shipping, the most urgent need for Blessings in Bundles is monetary donations. Our goal is to raise $8,000 each year to ship packages to traveling families and AAI-sponsored orphanages. We also have a wish list of items that are needed for these packages.
