Hosts of Hope
International orphan hosting program
The Hosts of Hope is a special program that facilitates connections between potential adoptive families and older children residing in overseas orphanages. Through this program, children ages four to fourteen (depending on the country) come to the United States for a ten day period, and stay with host families. These families are most often open to the possibility of adoption, and our prayer is that a bond will develop between each child and their host family. This gives the children an opportunity to learn what ‘family’ life in the U.S. is about. Their stay includes several group activities with all of the children, as well as everyday individual family experiences. Adoption Associates, Inc.’s hosting programs in 2007, 2008, and 2009 resulted in nearly 90% of the participating children later being placed into permanent homes.
Our goal for 2010 is to raise $30,000 to facilitate this program.

Our Call to Nepal
Helping children living in three orphanages in Nepal
Three orphanages that AAI works with in Nepal are struggling to provide not only adequate clothing and shelter for the children, but enough food as well. Consequently, many of these children are malnourished, which places them at risk of severe developmental delays and serious illness.
Funds are needed to ensure that these orphanages continually receive enough infant formula, cereal, and supplements to provide for the children’s nutritional needs. Additional donations are needed to hire more nannies to care for the children and to purchase baby bottles, infant spoons, bowls, food for older children, and clothing. Funds exceeding the project goal will be earmarked to make significant improvements to the structures of the orphanages.
A gift to Our Call to Nepal will significantly impact many orphaned children for a lifetime. Do you feel called to contribute?
Our goal for 2010 is to raise $45,000 for this project.
