Adoption loans available through America's Christian Credit Union
There are a lot of expenses involved in adoption, and since Adoption Associates, Inc. wants every eligible family to have the chance to bring a child home, we’ve developed a funding resources page on our web site, highlighting options that are available to adopting families.
Recently, AAI added a new funding resource to its list—America’s Christian Credit Union. With the mission to “Reach, serve and teach” since its inception in 1958, America’s Christian Credit Union follows Scripture-based principles in its money management. In 2009, the credit union expanded its loan offerings to include adoption. According to president/CEO Mendell Thompson, “We’d seriously like to have the chance to talk with you and share with you what our heart is; what our mission is; and how we can help you live that dream and expand your home with someone that God has just for you.”
ACCU offers loans for families that are pursuing either international or domestic adoption, as it states that the credit union “hope(s) that through this unique loan program, we can play a big part in helping build Christian families.” Applicants must become members of the credit union and must sign ACCU’s Statement of Faith in order to be eligible. Adoption loans are available for amounts up to $50,000, for terms up to 60 months, at competitive interest rates. Once a borrower has been approved, loan proceeds will be available immediately.
