Adoptive families are needed for China, Russia, and Ukraine Waiting Children programs!
Our Waiting Children programs are active with families that have signed up and are linked with children—but even more families are needed for these programs!
Children available through the Waiting Children programs are healthy, older children—ages 3 and older or 6 and older, depending on the country—as well as children of all ages with special medical needs (ranging from minor, correctable issues to more moderate medical issues). When compared to the same country’s regular program, the Waiting Children programs offer shorter process times in most cases, and for the Russia and Ukraine programs, reduced fees.

Families who sign up for the Waiting Children programs can either be matched with a child from the photolisting or have a child referred to them after application.

Michigan families urgently needed for hosting program this summer!
Adoption Associates, Inc. is still looking for additional host families for our Hosts of Hope 2009 Russia and Ukraine summer programs! The host family application deadline for participating in these programs is May 10, 2009.
The Hosts of Hope program gives older, orphaned children a chance to visit the U.S. for approximately 10 days, staying in host family homes. Participating children are 6 to 14 years old.

Adoption Associates, Inc. hosting programs in 2007 and 2008 resulted in nearly 95% of the participating children being placed into permanent homes.

A volunteer coordinator is needed to assist in planning fundraising events.
