National Adoption Awareness Month
November is National Adoption Awareness Month, a time for us to celebrate with the many orphans who have become sons and daughters through adoption and to remember the children left behind.
While we have an additional opportunity to promote adoption during November, we continually work to increase adoption awareness year-round. We know that for every child we place, many more continue to wait. And with 143 million orphaned children in the world, we also know that there simply are not enough homes for them all.
Therefore, in the spirit of National Adoption Awareness Month, we ask you to celebrate adoption within your own family and to help spread the word about the need for adoptive parents. Perhaps your own family is complete, but you may just know someone who is waiting to discover the joy of adoption.
In this month’s newsletter, read about how two families have been blessed through adoption, learn about the top three ways to afford your adoption, get updates on all that’s new at AAI, and see how you can help benefit orphans worldwide.
Be sure to check the agency news section for details on a special international adoption fee reduction for all of our international programs in honor of National Adoption Awareness Month!
Best Wishes,
