The Reward
Think about the worst news you have ever received. Looking back to that day, did you believe that your life would ever be the same, that you would be happy again, or that you would be able to move on?
At Adoption Associates, Inc. we serve those who come to us after hearing some of the most difficult news of their lives. Prospective adoptive parents are often reeling from the crushing news that they’re infertile. On the other side of the spectrum are the birth mothers who find themselves terrified at the news of an unplanned pregnancy. For some of the orphans we try to place, they remember the news of a parent’s death, or of a medical diagnosis which caused their family to abandon them. Yet, all these people come to us searching for one thing—a brighter future where they can once again find happiness. They find this hope through adoption.
However, adoption itself can also be trying. This journey is often nothing less than a roller coaster ride full of obstacles, great unknowns, ups, downs, and turns at every corner. But when those touched by adoption look back on their journey, they almost always say with full confidence that it was nothing short of a miracle! You see, the reward for going through hard times is the blessing that’s received in the end.
