Change a Child’s Life through Sponsorship
Did you know that you can single-handedly change a child’s life? By sponsoring a child in need in Haiti, Ethiopia, or Nepal, you will be able to do just that. Through a monthly donation of only $25, you will help feed and clothe a child, as well as provide for his or her medical care and continued schooling.

Help Spread the Word about Adoption in Your Church
AAI has compiled resource packets for churches, and we need your help to make sure that your church receives one. Each resource packet holds several brochures that describe our services and the ways that we promote adoption to families and women experiencing unplanned pregnancies. Included in the resource packet are:
Materials describing Room for One More, our newest program which promotes Ethiopian, Haitian, and Nepalese adoption as well as the sponsorship of orphaned and destitute children, the financial support of orphanages, and the formation of adoption assistance funds in churches to help families with adoption expenses
Our birth parent brochure—a resource for your pastor or youth pastor when a young woman is faced with an unplanned pregnancy
Brochures describing our domestic and international adoption programs—a resource for church members who want to expand their families
We suggest that a resource packet be given to the pastor for his personal use and an additional packet be placed in a resource center, church office, or another prominent place where church members can see it.

Families are urgently needed for healthy infant boys from Guatemala. Children with special needs and older children are also waiting. We especially encourage families who are home study and dossier ready to inquire.

Golf Marathon “fore” Orphans
Are you a golfer, or do you have a soft spot in your heart for orphans? If so, we need your help. On Monday, May 14, we will be holding our first annual Golf Marathon to benefit orphans at The Meadows Golf Club in Allendale, Michigan. The Golf Marathon will include a team of golfers supported by pledges from family and friends on a per-hole basis. On the day of the marathon, the golfers will play over 100 holes of golf. Through their fundraising efforts, each golfer will endeavor to reach a sponsorship goal of $25 per hole, or $2,500 cumulative, for orphans. Proceeds will go to benefit orphans worldwide who lack the basic life necessities such as food, shelter, and clothing, that we often take for granted.
We are currently looking for golfers to play in the marathon, people to pledge their support for the golfers, and volunteers to help with the event.

Help Support Our New Birth Parent Video
Did you know that less than 2% of women who are facing an unplanned pregnancy choose adoption? This number sounds startling, but if you think about it, how many birth parents do you know who speak about planning adoption for their children? Many women choose single parenting or abortion instead of adoption simply because they do not have role models in their lives who speak positively about their adoption decision.

Discover Your Grandchild’s Heritage through a Cruise of the Russian Waterways
Ship ahoy, mates! We are offering a special tour of the Russian waterways for grandparents by adoption as well as for folks with an interest in adoption that are intrigued by Russia.
Russian Waterway 2007
AAI is once again sponsoring this wonderful, relaxing, scenic, and historic cruise/tour through the Russian waterways.
This 12 day cruise features the major attractions of Moscow and St. Petersburg and includes six days of viewing the beautiful interior of Russia from a river cruise ship during the middle of the trip. An orphanage visit and an optional stop-over in Prague are included.
The trip will be hosted by Fred Groen, manager of international program development, and his wife, Bev.
