New Beginnings
With the dawn of every new year comes the opportunity to change something in our lives and give us a “new beginning.” Many people spend much of the month of December thinking of what their resolution will be for the coming year. Once January 1 arrives, they sign up for new gym memberships, say they’ll start exercising more and eating healthier, or proclaim that they’ll spend more time with their family.
Although many resolutions do fail, we never lose hope that the coming year will finally be the year when we will make the changes in our lives that we have been desiring to make, and that we will finally witness the fulfillment of many of our heart’s desires.
If your resolution is to adopt for the first time in the coming year, or if you are planning another “first” this year, AAI invites you to join us as we begin the new year with many new beginnings of our own.
In this month’s newsletter, read about a family that started a new Christmas tradition by “adopting” their children’s birth mother and her children for Christmas, new language class opportunities for families adopting internationally, the first child to come home from our Ethiopia program, our new adoption program in Nepal, and our first Golf Marathon to benefit orphans.
Best Wishes,
