Waiting
Although the holidays are often some of the most memorable and wonderful times of the year, most people will find themselves spending a significant amount of time waiting because of them. Whether it’s waiting in line at the mall to purchase those last minute Christmas gifts, or waiting in heavy traffic through many green lights to even get to the mall, waiting at the airport with weary travelers, or waiting for Christmas to finally arrive, it often seems like the wait will never end.
Prospective adoptive parents and orphans both know what it is like to wait. However, the end of their waiting is not often signified by a date on the calendar. This Christmas, as you find yourself waiting, please remember in prayer the children and families whose waiting continues.
In this month’s newsletter, read about practical things that couples waiting to adopt domestically can do during their wait, our recent trip to an orphanage in China where many children continue to wait for their forever families, a new way to help you afford adoption, and to see what’s new at AAI.
Best Wishes,
