Families Needed for Guatemalan Infants
Due to a high number of infant referrals received from Guatemala in July, AAI has completely exhausted our list of families ready and waiting to adopt from Guatemala. Families are needed for healthy infants, both boys and girls. If you have been thinking about adding to your family, now may be just the time. A special, beautiful baby may be waiting for you.
If you or someone you know may be interested in adopting from Guatemala, please call Jan or Kim at 616.667.0921.
Older children and children with special needs are also waiting. Please visit our waiting children page for more information.
New Postage Policy for Letters/Packages to Birth Parents
If you are an adoptive family who agreed to provide pictures and letters to your birth parents at predetermined dates, this announcement is for you!
We kindly ask that you now include postage for any and all letters and packages so we can send your items to your birth mother at no cost to the agency. We plan to continue this important service for our birth mothers for years to come, and we appreciate any support to help offset the cost of ever increasing postage rates.
The procedure for sending your pictures and letters will be as follows:
Insert your pictures and letters into an envelope. Reminder: No confidential information about yourselves.
Seal the envelope.
Write the birth mother’s name on the outside of the envelope. (If you don’t know the last name just put the first name.)
Affix correct amount of postage per the weight of the envelope.
Write a short note, asking that this be mailed to the birth mother.
Drop the note & her envelope into another envelope addressed to Adoption Associates, Inc., Attn: Receptionist.
Mail.
If you are submitting pictures and a letter for more than one child please prepare a separate inner envelope for each child. They can go together in the outer envelope addressed to AAI.
Follow this same procedure if you are sending a package to your birth mother.
Follow this same procedure if you are sending pictures, letters, or packages to your child’s birth father.
Thank you for your continued support of Adoption Associates, Inc. We wish God’s blessings on you and your new little one for years to come!
