AAI in Russia
Russian staff and representatives walk you through the adoption process
In February of 2001, the AAI Russia office was opened in Moscow after the agency was accredited to do adoption work in Russia.
In November 2001, a decision was made to move the office from Moscow to St.Petersburg. Kirill Yarusov became the director of the Russian office and brought ten years of international adoption experience to the position.
The agency has six full-time employees and coordinates operations in twelve regions of Russia. All the regional representatives are officially employed by AAI.
AAI believes it is very important that all employees are highly professional and share the AAI philosophy toward adoption. Our desire is for people working for AAI in different regions of Russia, including the most distant ones, to feel part of a team—helping children find their forever families.
