Celebrating Birth Mothers

Spring is upon us, and with spring always comes new life, new families … and new beginnings. Here at Adoption Associates, Inc., we celebrate new beginnings every day as forever families are united through adoption. Yet spring also means that Mother’s Day is near. This Mother’s Day, we would especially like to recognize the mothers who make adoption possible: birth mothers.

Affording Adoption

We are very pleased to announce some important information that might impact your future decision on whether to pursue adoption! On Wednesday, March 24, Adoption Associates received word that provisions for The Adoption Tax Credit had been included in the passage of the healthcare bill. Families can now expect a credit of $13,170. Read on to learn more about this and other creative ways to afford adoption.

Domestic Adoption

Having friends and family members who were adopted themselves, the decision to adopt was an easy one for Andy and Sarah. Despite their prior knowledge, it took much more than that – including faith in God, in each other and in their future child – to guide the couple through the four-year journey that would end in finding the child that was meant to be theirs. As with life, adoption is an experience that involves emotions and relationships; thus resulting in a course that is unpredictable. In the end, Andy and Sarah say that their journey shaped them into stronger people and defined what their future family could be.

International Adoption

After news that a U.S. citizen recently returned an adopted child to Russia, a past AAI client and NY city reporter wrote about her adoption experience.

Donation Opportunities

Continuing the adoption mission is something we couldn’t do without the support of our families, donors, friends and more. We are currently seeking members for our banquet committee, “Change a Life—Change the World”, as well as businesses and individuals interested in donating items for this exciting and growing event.
