Ukraine Adoption Quota Update

On January 15, 2008, a new public notice regarding adoption quotas for Ukraine was issued. We are happy to announce that quotas will not be subdivided by country or specific categories of children. AAI’s Ukraine program remains open to all families interested in adopting a child from Ukraine.
Children available are 14-18 months old and older for healthy children. We also have a waiting children program which includes children of all ages with special medical concerns as well as healthy children over the age of six.
The Ukraine adoption process is approximately seven to nine months from application to bringing your child home. Only one trip is required.
