New Temporary Refund Option Available for Russia Program
June 7, 2007
NOTE: This refund is no longer in effect due to AAI’s reaccreditation on July 20, 2007.
Worried about signing up for AAI’s Russia program before our accreditation is renewed? Then worry no longer. Beginning on June 1, AAI will initiate a temporary refund option that will allow families to focus on what’s most important—bringing their child home.
REQUIREMENTS
- This offer is available to families whose completed formal applications* are received at an AAI office on or after June 1, 2007 through August 31, 2007.
- Families will pay all applicable fees according to the current fee schedules.
OFFER
If AAI does not receive Russia accreditation by the end of the day on October 31, 2007, families may then choose from one of the following options:
- Families may continue in the Russia program until AAI’s accreditation is received and their child is brought home.
- Families may transfer to another AAI program of their choice and receive a 100% transfer of the application fee, administrative fee, AAI program fee, and Russia office/accreditation fee.
- Families may withdraw from the Russia program and receive a 100% refund of the AAI program fee and Russia office/accreditation fee. Please note: the application fee and administrative fee are nonrefundable.
If you have questions about the temporary refund option, please contact AAI’s Russia program director, Alla Goncharova, at 616.667.0921, or e-mail agoncharova@adoptionassociates.net.

*Before submitting a formal application, you must first complete and return a preliminary application and attend an International Adoption Awareness (IAA) meeting.
Please note: The temporary refund option applies only to families who submit formal applications between June 1 and August 31, 2007 for the Russia program. The temporary refund option does not apply to current waiting families and is not retroactive.
