Ming is informed immediately when your referral arrives from the CCAA (Chinese Center for Adoption Affairs). After you are notified, Ming goes to work translating your child’s medical and social information, arranging your Embassy appointment, and planning and scheduling your trip to bring home your daughter. She not only organizes your flight plans to and from China, Ming works directly with excellent organizations within China to plan and arrange every detail for your travel inside China! Rest assured that all arrangements will be carefully made right down to the minutest detail.

She’s also well-known to the staff of the CCAA. That means she can easily and quickly communicate directly with the right people when questions need answers or arrangements need to be made. In addition, Ming travels to China four times each year with groups of AAI families—and even when she doesn’t accompany our families, she trusts her well-experienced China travel contacts to make the adoption experience run smoothly, complete with wonderful memories for our families.
With Ming in your corner, you’re in good hands—since she’s known in the international adoption community for her work as the Founder and Director of the Chinese Cultural Exchange, which promotes Chinese-American relations through education and cultural events. This has earned Ming recognition from the Governor’s Office in Connecticut, where Ming lives and heads up the work of Adoption Associates. Ming also holds two bachelor’s degrees (one from Trinity College and one from Manchuria, China).
