After months of preparation, Adoption Associates has officially added a new international adoption program in Ghana, Africa! Adoption Associates has forged an exclusive partnership with a non-governmental, not-for-profit child advocacy agency. The Ghana program will offer children from several weeks old up to age fifteen, require two trips, and will be the most affordable and shortest option for families wanting to adopt internationally.

Rep. Braley Introduces Bill to Renew & Expand Adoption Tax Credit

On April 17, the deadline for taxpayers to file their federal income tax returns, Rep. Bruce Braley of Iowa introduced a bill to renew and expand a tax credit for families that choose to adopt children. The bill would permanently expand the federal adoption tax credit to $13,360 and make it refundable.
